In the 1998 NBA Finals, Jordan led the Bulls to a 4-2 series victory, securing his sixth and final NBA Championship. He was named the Finals' Most Valuable Player in all six championship series he played in.

Auction Details

The jersey was sold by entrepreneur Ryan Gough at Joopiter, a digital auction house owned by Pharrell Williams. The auction house had estimated the jersey's value between $10 million and $15 million (£7.5 million - £11.3 million). The previous record for a piece of Jordan memorabilia was $10.1 million (£7.6 million) for his jersey from game one of the same Finals.
