Kevin Mandia, the founder of the cybersecurity startup Mandiant, which was sold to Google for $5.4 billion in 2022, has successfully raised $255.5 million for his latest venture, Armadin. This funding round values the company at over $2.5 billion, as announced on Thursday.
Funding Details
The Series B funding round was led by Andreessen Horowitz and Accel. Other notable investors included Bain Capital Ventures, Redpoint, 8VC, Ballistic Ventures, Google Ventures, In-Q-Tel, Kleiner Perkins, and Menlo Ventures. This new funding comes just six months after Armadin raised $190 million in a Series A round in March, bringing the total raised to over $445 million.
