Ivan Toney Pleads Not Guilty to Assault
Ivan Toney, the England striker, has pleaded not guilty to assault charges stemming from an incident at a Soho nightclub. The 30-year-old forward appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Thursday, where he entered his plea regarding the accusation of head-butting and punching a member of the public.

The alleged assault occurred on December 6, 2022, at 100 Wardour Street, a live music venue. During the court proceedings, prosecutor Tom Heslop stated that an exchange of words took place between Toney and Saber Da Silva, leading to a confrontation. It was reported that Toney then lunged forward, head-butting Da Silva and following up with several punches.
The altercation reportedly left Da Silva with injuries to his nose and fingers.
