A 27-year-old woman has been charged in connection with the shooting of a police officer in Nottingham. Aisha Zaman, from the Hyson Green area of the city, faces charges of possession of a prohibited firearm and possession of that firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence.
Incident Details
The shooting occurred at 4:50 AM on Sunday in the city centre. Following the incident, a weapon was recovered, and a large crime scene cordon was established around Angel Row, a central area of Nottingham.
