This approval aims to enhance access to first-line immunotherapy for patients suffering from advanced esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) in India.

Approval Details

The drug has been approved for use in combination with cisplatin and paclitaxel as the first-line treatment for adult patients with unresectable advanced, recurrent, or metastatic ESCC. This marks Zytorvi's second approved indication in India, expanding its use beyond nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
