Huge crowds have gathered at a canal in Busan, South Korea, to observe a stranded shark. The 9ft 10in (3m) shark, affectionately named Bukangi, was first spotted in the waterway last month.

Rescue Attempts

Authorities have made a third attempt to rescue the female shark, utilizing nets to guide her back to the open sea. It is believed that Bukangi may have been attracted to the canal due to unusually warm water and an abundance of fish.
