Vimag Labs Begins Production in Haryana
Vimag Labs, a deep-tech startup backed by Accel, announced on Tuesday that it has commenced production at its first manufacturing facility located in Jhajjar, Haryana. The company plans to invest ₹50 crore in a phased approach to scale its capacity.
Initial Production and Future Plans
Vimag Labs specializes in manufacturing and assembling motor and control systems, along with related propulsion systems. The company has already completed and exported its first production batch from the Jhajjar facility. This site marks the beginning of a phased manufacturing expansion in India.
According to Manish Seth, Co-founder and CEO of Vimag Labs:
“"Our initial focus is on scaling mid-power motor and control systems for commercial programmes. As customer programmes mature, we plan to extend manufacturing into high-power systems of 570 kW and above and deepen partnerships across India for manufacturing, supply chain, tooling, and industrialisation."
