Automattic’s interim chief financial officer Jeremy Klaperman has left his position after less than a month, as reported by TechCrunch. Klaperman was promoted to this role last month following a governance crisis at the parent company of WordPress.com, which resulted in the resignation or dismissal of its entire board.

Departure Confirmation

The company confirmed Klaperman's departure with a statement from Megan Fox, Automattic’s director of communications:

“

"Automattic will always be grateful for Jeremy Klaperman’s leadership. We wish him the best of luck on his next endeavor."

Before taking on the role of interim CFO, Klaperman served as the CFO of Automattic’s VIP Enterprise business unit. He replaced former CFO Mark Davies, who had briefly assumed the CFO position after the board voted to place CEO Matt Mullenweg on leave in September.
