Arena, a platform that originated in 2023 as a research project at UC Berkeley, has successfully raised a $200 million Series B round, bringing its valuation to $3.1 billion. This announcement was made on Thursday, following the company's achievement of $100 million in annualized run-rate revenue in June.
Funding Details
The Series B round was led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and Khosla Ventures, with participation from Salesforce Ventures, 01 Advisors, Dell Technologies Capital, Endeavor Catalyst, a16z, Felicis, and others. Previously, Arena had announced a $150 million Series A in January, which valued the company at $1.7 billion post-money. At that time, its annualized revenue was reported at $30 million. This indicates that Arena's valuation has nearly doubled in just 10 months.
