Amazon’s personal AI wearable maker, Bee, has unveiled its first new products since being acquired by the retail giant last year. On Thursday, the tech company introduced the Bee Frontier, a next-generation device that can be worn on the wrist or pinned to clothing, along with the Bee Eclipse, a credit-card-sized device that magnetically attaches to the back of your smartphone.

Competitive Pricing

The Bee Frontier is priced at $74.99, significantly lower than competitors like the Plaud Note at $159 and the Pocket AI device at $129. The Bee Eclipse will retail for $99.99. The Frontier will be available in Onyx, Lavender, and Sage, while the Eclipse comes in Silver, Midnight, Honey, and Blush.

Key Features

Both devices leverage AI to take notes from everyday conversations, transforming them into actionable to-dos, summaries, and insights. For example, if users discuss making plans with friends, the Bee can remember the agreed date and time and create a calendar invite. Other applications include taking lecture notes or jotting down care plans discussed with a doctor.

Subscription Model

All Bee devices can create conversation summaries and recaps for free, offering 14 days of memory. For $11.99 per month, users can subscribe to Bee Pro, which provides unlimited conversation summaries and integrations with Amazon.com, Alexa+, and third-party applications. Pro users also benefit from suggested to-dos, daily memories, a personal chat assistant, and conversation templates.
