The total sales figure encompasses domestic sales, exports, and sales to other original equipment manufacturers. Key highlights include:
- Domestic passenger vehicle sales surged nearly 37%, totaling 181,838 units last month, up from 132,820 units a year ago.
- Total domestic sales, including light commercial vehicles (LCVs), reached 185,252 units in September, compared to 135,711 units in the same month last year.
- Exports increased to 44,219 units in September, up from 42,204 units in the same month last year.
