BMW has officially opened the order books for its highly anticipated new 3 Series sedan in the United States. The 2027 BMW 330 starts at $49,900, while the fully electric i3 50 xDrive is priced at $61,500. This marks the first time BMW offers a fully electric version of the 3 Series, built on an all-new platform called Neue Klasse.

Electric and Gasoline Variants

The 2027 i3 50 xDrive features an all-wheel drive setup, delivering a combined 463 hp (345 kW) and 467 lb-ft (633 Nm) of torque. Although BMW is finalizing the car’s EPA certification ahead of its showroom arrival in Q1 2027, it anticipates a range of 446 to 468 miles (718-753 km) on a single charge. This impressive range is attributed to the new cylindrical cell battery pack, which employs a cell-to-body approach to maximize energy density, along with the advanced sixth-generation motors.
