Audio and wearables brand boAt announced on Thursday that it has expanded its international presence by entering Sri Lanka and Bhutan. This move includes the introduction of personal audio products, smartwatches, and charging solutions, coinciding with a significant increase in its international revenue, which has more than doubled in FY26.

Expansion Strategy

The company stated that it plans to broaden its product range in each market over time, tailoring offerings based on local consumer preferences, category opportunities, and market responses. The addition of these two countries enhances boAt's existing footprint across Southeast Asia and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.

CEO's Vision

Gaurav Nayyar, CEO of boAt, emphasized the importance of understanding local markets:

“

"For us, international expansion is not about putting the same products on more shelves. It is about building market by market, understanding local consumers and creating relevance in each geography. Our ambition is clear: to build boAt into a global consumer lifestyle-tech brand from India that competes on product, design, innovation and consumer understanding."
