Saudi Arabia's energy minister has vowed to respond to the attacks on the kingdom's airports and oil and gas facilities by Yemen's Iran-backed Houthi movement. This statement follows a series of missile strikes across Riyadh, which resulted in at least 14 deaths and over 300 injuries during two attacks on the city's airport.

The Houthis also targeted oil facilities and Dammam airport in eastern Saudi Arabia. Their military spokesman, Brig Gen Yahya Saree, confirmed these attacks, stating that they were launched in retaliation for what they described as "brutal Saudi aggression" against areas they control in western Yemen.
