Condemnation continues of Republican Vivek Ramaswamy’s campaign in the Ohio governor race after his team released an attack ad. The ad features the estranged mother of his Democratic rival, Amy Acton, criticizing her daughter and calling her a liar.
Acton’s campaign has labeled the ad as despicable, especially after clarifying that she was sexually abused by her stepfather and removed from her mother’s custody at age 12. Despite the backlash, Ramaswamy’s team has stood firm in support of the ad.
