Domestic passenger vehicle dispatches from companies to dealers rose 21.8% year-on-year to 454,574 units in September this year, according to the industry body SIAM. In comparison, total passenger vehicle dispatches from automakers to dealers were at 373,347 units last September.
Two-Wheeler and Three-Wheeler Sales
Total two-wheeler sales also saw an increase, rising 13.5% to 2.463 million units last month, compared to 2.170 million units in September last year. Additionally, three-wheeler dispatches to dealers were up 16% last month, reaching 98,162 units in September 2026, compared to 84,635 units in the same month of the previous year.
