A Sydney court has heard that a greenskeeper discovered bloodied belongings in a dumpster two days after the alleged murders of AFL umpire Jesse Baird and flight attendant Luke Davies. Beau Lamarre-Condon, a former police officer, is accused of fatally shooting the couple with his service weapon at Baird’s home in Paddington on February 19, 2024. He has pleaded not guilty to two counts of murder and one charge of aggravated break and enter.
Discovery of Evidence
The prosecution alleges that Lamarre-Condon began cleaning up the crime scene immediately after the shootings. Items were reportedly dumped in a skip bin at the Cronulla Bowls Club. On February 21, 2024, Craig Scott, a greenskeeper at the club, testified that he and a co-worker found several black plastic bin bags in the skip bin that were not there the day before.
