Anant Ambani, 31, is the son of Mukesh Ambani, India's richest person, who has built his wealth primarily in the oil and gas sector. Mukesh Ambani owns the world's largest oil refinery and has close ties with the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). His support for BJP policies has been vocal, and firms associated with his Reliance Group have made substantial donations to the party. Notably, Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended Anant Ambani's extravagant wedding in Mumbai in 2024.
