The 81-year-old singer Rod Stewart has announced that his next tour will be his last, marking the end of a touring career that began in the early 1960s. The tour, titled Rod Stewart: The Final Encore, is set to kick off in April 2027 and will cover various cities in the UK and Europe.

The arena tour will include dates in:
- Belfast
- Glasgow
- Birmingham
- Manchester
- London
After an extensive run across Europe, the tour will conclude in Hanover, Germany, in July 2027. Stewart promises “one hell of a show” for his fans.
A Fond Farewell
In a heartfelt statement, Stewart said:
“"The time has come to say farewell to life on the road. After more than six decades, The Final Encore will most definitely be my last. I’ve been singing the music I love since I was 19 years old, and I’ve had the privilege of taking it around the world to all of you. It has given me a life beyond anything I could ever have imagined, and I hope I’ve given you some fond memories in return. So, may I take this opportunity to thank you for making this extraordinary life possible."
Upcoming Performances
Stewart still has a couple of live dates scheduled after the tour, including performances at Red Rocks, Colorado, in September 2027. These dates were rescheduled from June 2023 due to inflamed vocal cords.
