With its premiere just two weeks away, Marvel Studios has dropped one last trailer for the limited series, VisionQuest, which will complete the trilogy that began with WandaVision and Agatha All Along.

“

“This is a fight I likely won’t win. We have said goodbye before. But remember, family is forever.”

Context

Vision (played by Paul Bettany) died in Infinity War, but WandaVision resurrected an all-white version of him whose memories were restored in the finale. In VisionQuest, we will finally learn what happened afterward. The official premise reveals that Vision, rebooted and having escaped from those who sought to weaponize him, has been in hiding. Searching for new meaning, he consults the AI personas embedded in his programming, including F.R.I.D.A.Y., E.D.I.T.H., J.A.R.V.I.S., and the infamous Ultron.

Developments

His discreet existence comes to an end when a bounty placed on his head forces him to go on the run with Thomas Shepard, a mysterious boy who may be Vision’s son, reincarnate. As Vision evades capture, he must confront his nature, resist Ultron’s influence, and unravel the enigma that is his young companion if he’s to survive.
