A 36-year-old British woman has tragically died while attempting to rescue her two sons who were swept away while snorkeling in the Bahamas. The incident occurred near the southern point of Bimini, where the woman was snorkeling with her husband and children.

According to the Royal Bahamas Police Force, the woman was swept away by a strong current while trying to save her sons. Fortunately, the children were rescued from the water.
In a statement, the police reported:
“"According to the preliminary report, shortly after 10am, officers at the Alice Town police station received information that a female was unresponsive at the North Bimini Ferry Dock."
