Adobe has acquired India-based marketing intelligence startup Rilo in a deal involving licensing and team acquisition, as confirmed by TechCrunch. This marks Adobe’s second acquisition from India, following its purchase of video platform Rephrase.ai in 2023. The companies did not disclose the terms of the deal, and Adobe declined to comment further.

Acquisition Details

The acquisition provides Adobe with a small team and technology aimed at automating marketing workflows. As companies increasingly leverage AI to enhance their marketing strategies, Rilo’s technology is expected to support Adobe’s efforts in automating the creation, deployment, and tracking of campaigns. This includes extracting action items from meetings or calls and improving brand visibility on platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude.

Rilo was founded by IIT batchmates Georgi Boby and Dhruv Jaglan in 2025 and had raised $1 million from investors including Peak XV, DeVC, and Day Zero Ventures at a $10 million valuation. A source informed TechCrunch that investors will receive an exit from this deal, and Adobe plans to integrate some of Rilo’s intellectual property along with its six-member team.
