Prime Minister Modi's Upcoming Visits
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Uzbekistan from August 29 to 30 for a bilateral visit and the Kyrgyz Republic from August 31 to September 1 to attend the 26th SCO Summit. Tourist Bus Accident
At least 20 people were injured when a tourist bus carrying around 35 passengers crashed into a petrol pump at Kakkoor in Ernakulam district. Police reported that the bus driver swerved to avoid a two-wheeler that suddenly turned across the road, causing the bus to overturn after hitting the petrol pump. The passengers, including children and elderly individuals traveling from Kalady to attend a wedding, were rescued by locals and taken to nearby hospitals.
