Customers in London can now travel in the UK's first robotaxis as Uber launches its self-driving minicab on Thursday. This marks a significant milestone as the company becomes the first to offer such a service in the city.
Service Details
Initially, Uber has deployed 15 autonomous vehicles that have received a license to operate in London. Each vehicle is required to have a human safety driver behind the wheel, ready to take control if necessary.
