Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Deepak Prakash criticized the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) on Tuesday, following the defection of three party leaders from the Jharkhand unit to the ruling party. Prakash asserted that JMM lacks both organizational structure and leadership, relying instead on individuals whose names were not even considered by the BJP for the upcoming elections.

Key Statements

While speaking to ANI, Prakash stated:

"I want to say that the candidate of BJP who has a lotus symbol in his hand and the candidate of NDA are desired by the people of Jharkhand and only they will get victory in the upcoming state assembly election."

He further criticized the INDIA Alliance in Jharkhand, which includes JMM, Congress, and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), labeling it an alliance of selfishness. Prakash claimed:

"They neither have any idea nor vision for the progress of the four crore people of Jharkhand. They are only working to increase the financial resources of their family."
